Translation Management Platform
Janus utilizes a highly customized version of 1C, a leading ERP system who’s framework integrates HR, Accounting, and business management components with applied solutions for project management tasks into a single, highly functional piece of software. It’s business logic allows for project managers and clients (via the Translation Management area in the Collaboration Portal) to access real-time information about production status, past projects, financial information, and other customized reports that our teams and clients need. Project Managers also use the platform to manage the dozens of linguists and localization specialists needed to complete any single project, which may have 40+ individual tasks involved.
Our 1C system has been customized for our particular usage and the complex nature of translation and localization projects. It serves as the first-level communication platform for our 7 global production offices and for client engagement with our production team, a SharePoint enabled communication portal is available, which has reporting features that summarize key information from the 1C platform. Our solution has won Janus accolades from the client base that uses it and we are continually improving it. The system is flexible, scalable, secure and has proven to be extremely reliable over the years.
